It doesn’t matter what you know.

It doesn’t matter what you know.

Here’s why.

I heard a great quote this week that made me think about museum interpretation and copywriting in general. It was from Simon Sinek, author of the amazing book Start With Why.

He said:
“It doesn’t matter how much we know. What matters is how clearly others can understand what we know.”

For me, this quote sums up the importance of heritage interpretation and why most curators need help when they write museum panels.
