Museum guidebook design and layout

The first edition of LMWS’s guidebook sold so well the team at the museum wanted the second edition to be even better. Updated with content for the museum’s new galleries and exhibits, it soon became clear that the whole format of the guidebook needed to be laid out again.

While we kept many aspects of the old guidebook, we freshened up the layout and added consistency to the design styles throughout the book. We also adjusted the images and file properties to make it more suitable for print, creating better colour renditions which brought the photographs in the book to life – Vickie’s knowledge of the print industry proving to be invaluable once again.

It’s great to see this project evolving and getting better over time, especially as the new guide is apparently selling even better than before.
